Abstracted Landscapes presents a new way of looking at landscape.  Past paintings were built out of the compilation of numerous small brush strokes, creating intricate detail at the closest level.  This style takes a step back, levels up, and uses simplified shapes and strategic colour combinations to construct forest forms. It brings these elements to the forefront, clarifying those embedded more subtly in my other artworks, merging the modern with the naive.
